Less expensive options

Oilcloth by the Foot - If you have tables that are less than 30 inches wide, you may be able to use bolt oilcloth fabric without trim. Oilcloth does not unravel, so taco shops in particular just cut squares with scissors and use the tablecloths for years. A standard bolt of oilcloth is 47 inches wide. It's still recommended to have 8 inches or less for the overhang so the stiff cloth doesn't annoy diners with it in their laps.
